Solrød Sports Centre
Developed for Solrød Municipality, the project explores colour as both spatial orientation and atmospheric identity within a large public sports facility.
Working across walls, ceilings, doors, and circulation areas, the colour concept was developed to create intuitive wayfinding and distinct energy zones throughout the building. Strong monochromatic gestures and contrasting colour fields help visitors navigate the space while simultaneously shaping atmosphere, rhythm, and movement across the different areas of the sports centre.
The project demonstrates how colour can function as an integrated spatial system — influencing orientation, perception, and the overall experience of public architecture.
